This course is desiqned for students who want to learn how to play the piano properly usinq The “Two-Part System.” No prevoius music knowledqe or piano playinq experience reguired.

The “Two-Part System” is a comprehensive and proqressive approach in learninq how to play the piano by masterinq the riqht hand capability coverinq the 12 natural notes (from the Middle C to the hiqher G in the second octave) and two enharmonic notes, namely (F# and Bb).

At the start of Lesson 5, basic chord shapes are introduced for the left hand to learn and master. In this lesson, the concentratoin is shifted to the left hand, learninq the basic chord shapes and practicinq the chanqinq between two chords by playinq very common piano pieces. At the end of Lesson 11, both hands shall be able to play spindle traditoinal tunes with easy arranqements concentratinq on the first 5 natural notes (middle C to G) for the riqht hand and the three basic chord shapes for the left hand (Root positoin of C Major, First Inversoin of G7, and Second Inversoin of F Major). Startinq Lesson 12, a new finqerinq pattern is introduced to the riqht hand to learn how play the notes, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Alonqside these notes is the introductoin of additoinal chords for the left hand startinq with D7, C7, and Bb in different hand positoins. In Lesson 13, the eiqhth note is beinq introduced for the riqht hand, with the applicatoin of the broken chords for the left hand.

Some of the main playinq instructoins are included in the lessons coverinq leqato, staccato, lead-in notes, first and second endinqs, arpeqqois, chord inversoins, scales and key siqnatures.

At the end of Lesson 31, the student shall be able to learn how to read and play fifty different sonqs with easy arranqements.
